The 8:1 J/24 boom vang consists of two lines. The 2:1 Cascade is AmSteel Blue with an eye splice on each end. You can luggage tag one end to the mast bail and attach the other to the 'floating' fiddle after passing it through the singe block on the boom bail (sold separately). The Purchase line (this item) is 8mm with an eye splice on one end (attached to the becket on the lower fiddle block) and an end whip on the other end.
