Returns Made Easy!
Your 100% satisfaction is our goal - we want you to love the gear you use on the water. But if something doesn't work out, we accept returns on most new, unused items*. Returns can be made within 30 days of delivery for refund to original payment method. Returns made outside 30 days will be issued store credit. Please allow 5-7 days for return processing and 1-2 billing cycles for credit to appear. Exchanges should be treated as a new order (more info below). Please contact us right away if there are any issues (damaged in transit, missing items, etc) related to a recently received package and our team will work with you to make it right.

*Exceptions: Items including cut line, custom rigging, numbered sails, open DVDs, and products worn or used out on the water are not eligible for return for refund. Our team will assess a return for store credit on a case by case basis. Clearance items included on our Deals page (or other product categories) are eligible for return for store credit only. A note about this policy is included on applicable product pages. Items noted as "special order" and all new kayaks and sailboats will incur restocking fees. These fees are assessed on an individual basis. Contact us for questions about special order items, kayaks, and sailboats.
How to Return:
Please print out and complete a copy of our West Coast Sailing Return Form (PDF) with your contact info, order number, and items you're sending back to us. This makes it easy for us to quickly process your request. Packages can be sent to the following address:

- You will be responsible for the cost of shipping items back to West Coast Sailing. You are welcome to use any convenient method including USPS, UPS, or FedEx. USPS First Class works great for small packages and USPS Priority works great for larger boxes.
- We will process a refund for your order (less any expedited shipping charges) once the product is received.
- If you do not have access to a printer, please include the information requested on the return form on a sheet of paper and include in the package. This may add to processing time but we will do our best to handle your return quickly.
To speed up the process of getting you the right gear, any exchange should be treated as a new order. Shop online or by phone/email to order your replacement item(s) and send back the item(s) you not longer need at your convenience using the instructions listed above.
You are welcome to wait until your return has been processed and credited before making the replacement purchase if that is more convenient. Keep in mind, inventory moves quickly, especially during holidays and sale times, so we encourage you to re-order sooner rather than later to avoid missing out!
Due to the high cost of shipping internationally, we are unable to offer refunds on shipping charges for international orders. However, we do make exceptions to this if there are errors on our part related to your order. Please contact us to discuss options.
