Returns Made Easy!
Your 100% satisfaction is our goal - we want you to love your sailing gear, but if something doesn't work out, we accept returns on most new, unused items*. Returns can be made within 366 days (1 year + 1 day) of your original order date.
To make things easy we have three simple options for returning items to us:
1. Flat Rate Return Label
Click here to generate an easy to use, flat rate Fedex return label. Attach this label to the package and drop it off at any Fedex drop off location. After we receive your return we’ll deduct the cost of the label from your refund. Labels are $12.50 for standard items and $60 for oversized items. If you are uncertain about the shipping class of your item (standard vs oversize), please reach out to our Customer Support team.
***Please note that Fedex return labels are only available within the 50 U.S. States. U.S. Territories and outlying islands are unfortunately excluded from this service.***
2. Use Your Own Shipping
Prefer to use your own shipping? That’s okay, please include a note with your name, order number, and contact information and ship your return back to us at:

3. Return To Our Store
Local customers are welcome to drop off their returns to our retail showroom at 709 N Columbia Blvd in Portland.
*All items must be returned in their original condition, including manufacturer’s packaging, tags, documentation, and any accessories. Returns will be refused if items arrive used or damaged due to improper packaging. Please ensure returns are carefully packaged.
We do not accept returns of used items, but we will work with you to resolve any manufacturer defects and warranty replacements. Cut line, West Coast Sailing Rig Shop items, numbered sails, open DVDs, and products worn or used out on the water are not eligible for return for refund. Clearance items included on our Deals page (or other product categories) are eligible for return for store credit only. A note about this policy is included on applicable product pages. We are also unable to offer return shipping labels on items shipped by LTL carrier, including some mast sections and booms. Please contact our Customer Support team with any questions.
Rig Shop - If there are questions or concerns about a West Coast Sailing Rig Shop item you have purchased, please contact our riggers at email@example.com for assistance. Rigging items built to the specifications listed on their respective product pages are not eligible for return except in the case of defect or error on delivery. Store credit may be issued in place of a refund to the original order payment method.
Special Order Items - We cannot accept returns of these items, nor can we offer refunds or exchanges for them. Any special order items shipped back to us will be discarded or donated. Our staff will advise you at the time you place your order if the order contains a special order item.
In the event that you wish to return a new boat or kayak, please contact our Boat Sales team. Please note that returned boats or kayaks will incur restocking fees. These fees are determined on an individual basis.
