Overview
The catamaran that started a revolution. The Hobie 16 is still the most recognizable and iconic fiberglass catamaran. With over 100,000 built, the 16 expanded the worlds’ view on what fast, beach launched fun could be like. The Hobie 16 came out in the 1970s and yet is still raced around the world and up and down the west coast. What about shipping and boat delivery?
Despite their size, we are able to ship most boats safely and inexpensively. For the Hobie 16, the safest way to ship is on a dedicated trailer. Please select the trailer add on option (Add Trailer - Carnai Road Base w/ Mast Stand) below before adding to your shopping cart. Our team will fully assemble your boat (to the extent possible for transportation) before arranging delivery to you. Shipping rates vary based on where you are located but will be calculated in the shopping cart. Due to dealer territory restrictions, West Coast Sailing reserves the right to cancel an order if shipping into another dealers territory. To confirm if we can ship a new Hobie 16 to you before ordering or to discuss options without a trailer, please contact our team at boatsales@westcoastsailing.net or by calling or texting 1-502-285-5536.
