ILCA Cunningham Systems
Complete, ready to install kits and available in a variety of configurations including 6:1, 8:1, and 10:1 purchase (all class legal) with a variety of block and control line options so you can find the perfect system for your ILCA / Laser.
6:1 Cunningham Systems
The most basic cunningham system we offer and comparable to what is found in many existing stock rigging kits. The 6:1 purchase works great for ILCA 4 (Laser 4.7) and ILCA 6 (Laser Radial) sailors, or those with older ILCA 7 MKI sails. These systems offer great purchase will minimizing excess control line.
8:1 Cunningham Systems
Our best selling configuration, our 8:1 cunninghams allow additional purchase and more control for lighter weight sailors, and recommended for ILCA 7 sailors using the MKII sail. These are available in the widest range of configurations and popular among most of our sailors.
10:1 Cunningham Systems
Purpose built for the ILCA 7 MK2 sail with max purchase allowed by class rules and ideal for ILCA 7 sailors struggling to apply enough tension with an 8:1 system.
ILCA Outhaul Systems
West Coast Sailing offers built to order custom outhaul rigging systems for ILCA / Laser sailboats, made right here in our Portland, OR rig shop. These are class legal 6:1 'Aft Release' style systems featuring a spliced loop on the Dyneema primary line that attaches to the aft end of the boom. All of our complete 6:1 outhaul systems include a single block with spliced control line and Dyneema primary line w/ loop, a block with spliced loop for attaching to boom cleat, a block with spliced loop for attaching to the mast above the gooseneck, and a clew shackle w/ block. These systems are available with various line and block choices, depending on your preferences.

TecPro Vang with Harken Base & Allen High Load Block Upgrade
This is our top tier vang assembly with upgrade to the 30mm Allen Extreme High Load vang block (from the standard Harken block). This assembly is completed with a Harken Vang Base, 18mm Harken Double Block, and 4mm Technora control line.
TecPro Vang with Ronstan Base & Ronstan Hardware
This assembly uses all Ronstan hardware with 4mm Technora control line, including the latest class approved Ronstan lower vang unit and matching Ronstan hardware. Both the primary and control line are spliced to the blocks for a clean finish. This is a great upgrade for the active sailor!
TecPro Vang with Harken Base & Harken Hardware
