Description
Custom Vanguard 15 (V15) mainsheet from the West Coast Sailing Rig Shop. This main sheet is made from 8mm Alpha Ropes SSR with integrated Dyneema split tail, which forms the mainsheet bridle. Tie off the end of each tail to the fairleads on each side of the rear deck.

A note on setting up your V15 mainsheet:
The V15 mainsheet has a 'bridle' spliced into one end that fastens to the stern deck. This 'split tail' has two lengths of Dyneema that are meant to be tied off to the fairleads on each side of the deck. To accommodate the required splice for joining the primary section of the mainsheet to this bridle with split tails, the splice point of the sheet is designed to sit just AFT of the rear boom block when the boom is fully sheeted in. The splice is too thick to pass forward through the boom block. See the reference photo below, noting the 'split' tails sitting below / aft of the boom block. The overall 'tension' of the bridle can be adjusted for different wind conditions by shortening / lengthening based on how close you tie the tails off to the fairleads one each side of the transom.

If there is a defect with your rigging or other error, please contact our rigging team right away at rigshop@westcoastsailing.net for resolution (repair or replacement). As a custom, built to order item, our team may opt to issue store credit if the item is unneeded or ordered in error.

Returns Info: Your 100% satisfaction is our goal - we want you to love your sailing gear, but if something doesn't work out, we accept returns on most new, unused items*. Returns can be made within 366 days (1 year + 1 day) of your original order date. Exceptions include (and are not limited to) cut line, Rig Shop products, special order items, numbered sails, and items used or worn sailing.
