Store Status

West Coast Sailing is 100% open and ready to assist with all of your sailing needs. Our staff is back to working in our office and warehouse to receive and ship product, answer calls and emails, and provide service. We continue to follow all guidelines to keep our team safe and healthy. Our website remains your best resource for the wide range of sailing parts, apparel, and boats we offer. Our team is also available via phone and email and, for those in the Portland area, in person at our showroom.

 

Store Hours

West Coast Sailing is open Monday - Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, 12 pm to 5 pm. All times listed in PST/PDT. Our full Customer Support and Sales teams are available Monday - Friday, with limited staff on weekends. Our Fulfillment team is not available on weekends. Please see the following section for special store and holiday hours that amend this schedule.

Our team is available via phone and text at 503-285-5536. Press extension 1 for Customer Support and all parts/accessories inquiries, new orders, and order status, and extension 2 to reach out boat sales team for all questions related to new sailboats, ordering a sailboat, or existing sailboat order questions or after sales support.

Product Shortages

Global events have created product shortages across industries, including ours! Delays in manufacturing and shipping mean that there may be products with extended or unknown lead times. Some popular items may have limited availability through the Summer 2021 season. We are working hard to continue to source and stock the items you need to make the most of your time on the water, and sharing the most up to date information we have via individual product stock statuses. Unless clearly marked as discontinued, if an item is unavailable for purchase that likely means there is a delay from the manufacturer. Please contact our team if you need additional information on a particular product or brand. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all navigate this challenging time. Rest assured that we will do everything we can to provide the best selection of sailing parts and gear you'll find anywhere.

 

Fulfillment

We pick, pack, and ship orders Monday through Friday, with the exception of special store hours as listed above. In stock orders typically ship within 1 business day. Our daily cut off is 12 pm, meaning that orders placed after this time may not ship the same day. Our team will make every effort to prioritize expedited orders placed in the afternoon but these shipments are not guaranteed to go out if placed after 12 pm. Automated tracking number emails are send when order labels are generated. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to be updated.

 

Shipping

West Coast Sailing uses both USPS and FedEx for shipping parts orders, with various freight carriers were specified for items designated as 'Freight'. For service delays related to USPS and FedEx, please check the following links:

 

Website

Our website is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for your convenience in finding the right sailing parts and placing orders. Our team monitors the site for occasional outages and works to address any and all issues as quickly as possible. 

 

Showroom

Our showroom in Portland is open for walk in shopping and in store pickup needs. Effective May 20th, 2021, masks remain required for customers inside our building, unless they show proof that they are fully vaccinated (defined as ≥2 weeks after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or ≥2 weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson). Proof of vaccination can consist of showing a vaccination card, a photo of a vaccination card, a print-out from a medical provider, or digital information from a medical provider (such as on one's cell phone).  We will not keep information on file.  It is purely voluntary for customers to provide this information - but it is necessary for those wishing to not wear a mask.
