This Opti tiller joint features a rope core molded in the center to avoid complete failure should the rubber tear. It is releasable, so the tiller extension can be easily removed from the tiller. Designed for use on Optimist tillers and extensions.

Tech Tip: Increase the lifespan of your Tiller Joint by disconnecting your extension from your tiller during storage. This avoids unnecessary bending of the tiller joint, increasing it's lifespan.
