Description
This Rooster quick release pin is for your ILCA/Laser Harken vang/kicker XD system. Easy and quick, releasing - Simply push the button, the pin releases and pull it out. Attach to your Harken vang/kicker XD system to the bottom mast section. A small hole is provided on the side of the tapered handle to allow, as an option - a split ring or small twine cord to be attached - to assist removal.
NOTE: Pin diameter is 6.3mm (1/4")
Tested with the official Laser Harken XD kit fitting - a perfect fit. Class legal.

- Body - 17-4 PH Grade Stainless Steel
- Spindle, Button and Handle (Dia. 20.7 mm) - 303 Grade Stainless Steel
- Spring - 304 Grade Stainless Steel

Expensive, but very nice
I'm slow rigging, unrigging. I really like this pin compared to the standard clevis pin. When its cold and wet this is much easier to deal with compared to that small finicky split ring.
