Tasar Worlds Highlight Video
http://vimeo.com/116409324
The 2015 Tasar Worlds took place earlier this month at Geographe Bay Yacht Club in Western Australia. In addition to the large Australian showing, the 120 deep fleet included teams from North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Japan, and the Netherlands. The sailors were treated to a week of close racing, great hospitality, and beautiful surroundings. Congratulations to Chris Dance and Peter Hackett, the new Tasar World Champions, and all of the competitors. As the North American Tasar supplier and avid supporters of the class, a special shout out from all of us at West Coast Sailing to the local sailors who traveled to Australia for this year's Worlds:
- Jay and Lisa Renehan - 3rd Place
- Anthony Boscolo and Haley Lane - 5th Place
- Michael Karas and Molly Jackson - 7th Place
- Bruce Gage and Indi Finch - 22nd Place
- Philip Gordon and Nick Hubbard - 33rd Place
Up Next: Tasar World Championship 2017 in Gamagori, Japan -- Mark your calendars!
Special thanks to James Mahoney and JGM Productions for the Highlight Video. For full results and additional coverage from the 2015 Tasar Worlds, check out the following links:
