Splicing Tools

Dyneema Line
HMPE (high molecular weight polyethylene) line, commonly referrred to as Dyneema or Spectra line, is strong, low stretch, and light weight. This type of line is commonly found in small sailboat control systems and is great for splicing to blocks or shackles. West Coast Sailing stocks a variety of diameters and colors.
Double Braid Control Lines
Double braid lines have a core and a cover, making them idea for splicing or tapering.
