Exciting Staff Updates at West Coast Sailing
Dear Sailors, Supporters, and Customers of West Coast Sailing,
We have exciting news to share! 2019 marks our 14th year in business and 14th consecutive year of serving the sailing community. We’re as committed as ever to providing the best products and service you'll find anywhere in the industry. Looking forward, we've developed a strong multi-year plan to improve our systems, expand our product range, and fulfill orders faster. Whether you’ve known us for years or just getting started, we're here for the long term and thank you for being a part of our journey.
After months of planning and training, we’re now ready and excited to announce three major promotions. Effective today, Chris Brown is being promoted to the role of President of West Coast Sailing. He assumes responsibility for leading the company and executing our long-term strategies. Joining Chris with new roles and responsibilities are Kyle Eaton, who is being promoted to Vice President of Operations, and Phil Krug, who is being promoted to Vice President of Marketing & Ecommerce.
With that, my own role here will change significantly. Beginning January 1st, 2020, I’ll be taking an extended Leave of Absence from West Coast Sailing. I won’t be coming to the office or be involved in any of the operations or day to day functions. I will continue to work with the Leadership Team on strategy, long term planning and goal setting, ensuring our team has all the financial resources and support necessary to continue to serve our customers around the world. While bittersweet, I’m excited for my next chapter.
Our entire staff is happy to welcome Chris, Kyle and Phil into their new official roles. These three are the heart and soul of our business, and I believe the best management team in our industry. I know with confidence our best years are starting, right, now.
