Adaptive Sailing in Colorado

Community Sailing of Colorado recently took delivery of two new RS Venture Keel sailboats complete with adaptive sailing kits. As a nonprofit organization promoting fun, learning and growth through the sport of sailing, Community Sailing of Colorado uses a number of RS boats, including the RS Venture and RS Tera. They are one of the first organizations in the U.S. to make use of the new adaptive sailing kit.

How does it work you ask? The new RS Venture Keel, a second version of the popular RS Venture but with a full size keel, can be fitted with a Sailablity Kit. This kit includes two bucket seats with joystick steering and all controls led right to the seats. The kit is designed to come in and out of the boat quickly, allowing mixed use and lots of versatility. Check out this video below:
