- This top cover is extended at the transom so that the spars and sail can be stored covered and in the boat, which effectively "tents" the cover.
- There are three heavy-duty straps that go around the hull and hold the cover taut with quick-clip adjustable buckles.
- An additional webbing loop in installed at the aft end that allows the extended portion of the cover to be pulled tightly to the lower gudgeon for flap free highway travel.
- Daily use of the cover is a breeze - there are no strings to mess with.
- For absolute "flap free" highway travel we have installed 5 webbing loops that allow the cover to be pulled drum tight with the use of lacing lines.
- Reinforcement has been added to the transom to prevent any chafe from the gudgeons.

Good for trailering
I use the top cover when I have my Opti upside-down on a trailer. This keep road grit and dirt from getting up inside the cockpit of my Opti, and coating my airbags, and getting into my mainsheet blocks. This cover is very durable, which is important when you have your Opti tied down tightly, and there is a lot fo pressure on the cover. Having your name or sail number on the cover makes it easy to pick your cover out from those of other kids.
