The OptiParts BlackMax Boom is an ultra stiff and yet lightweight Optimist boom can be used without a bridle. This enables the larger sailor to land further forward when tacking.
All Optiparts Optimist booms are made from high grade, tempered tube and include all fittings so they are ready to sail. Fitted with captive eye straps, black nylon in- and outboard end fittings, nylon outhaul cleat, 4 mm Vectran outhaul and bridle, Vectran vang and outhaul trim gauge.
