Description
Our Melges 24 Main Halyard is made with 5mm Vectrus 12 (vectran) for the primary halyard section that is eye-to-eye spliced with 5mm Amsteel Blue (dyneema) for the hoisting tail. We build this halyard to just the right length for attaching your 4:1 fine tune system below the deck. There is a reeving eye on the Amsteel Blue section for ease of installation and the Vectrus 12 section has a short section of cover for chafe protection add to the sail end of the halyard.
