The site launched in March 2019 and some of the site’s features include mega menu design and functionality, full width custom product page, Instagram feed, request a quote functionality on product page, custom inventory script for back order functionality, custom stock notification for out of stock products via custom fields, parallax effects, and other items.

Phil joined West Coast Sailing in June 2011 and has been instrumental in the growth of the company's digital marketing and ecommerce operations. Areas of expertise include BigCommerce, Google products including Ads, Analytics, Merchant Center, and Search Console, MailChimp, ShipperHQ, Amazon Seller Central, and payment gateways including PayPal and Authorize.net. Major projects have included a site and brand redesign on Magento CE (2015), site replatforming from Magento CE to BigCommerce (2019), and a ground up design and build of a secondary site on BigCommerce (2019). Day to day responsibilities include maintainence and optimization of all aspects of this website including products, category merchandizing, shipping and payment methods, landing pages, content, photography, and other customizations.
